About the Madison Historical Society
The Madison Historical Society, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to preserving the heritage of Madison Township and Madison Village, Lake County, Ohio. Founded in 1978, the Madison Historical Society continues to actively preserve information and artifacts pertaining to Madison’s past. We maintain a research library and artifact collection, as well as offer regularly scheduled programs of historical interest. The TIMES, our bi-monthly newsletter, contains articles about Madison history and keeps our members informed of up-coming programs and activities. We provide enrichment opportunities to schools, clubs and civic organizations. All people interested in the history of Madison, Ohio are encouraged to join.
